Steve Barr Happy Hour
He brought in thousands of new Democratic voters as a founder of Rock The Vote. He created the nation's first full-fledged 'parents union' to fight for radical education reform in Los Angeles. He's in the process of making life extremely miserable for the L.A. Unified School Board and once was quoted in the local press using the phrase 'pig fucker' right after the name of the L.A. teachers union president.
Now he's coming to New York to start a Green Dot charter high school and to hoist back a couple of malt beverages with Democrats for Education Reform.Location: La Bottega (Maritime Hotel), 363 W. 16th St.
